US Marble announced today that it has been acquired by an investment group – Clio Holdings. Clio Holdings was founded in 2016 in Birmingham, MI with a vision to create an industry leading supplier and fabricator of counter tops. Their mission is to partner with longstanding companies in the industry while implementing the best practices.
“US Marble already enjoys leadership at the Special Order platform for box store customers across the country,” US Marble CEO Rick Foster said. “We now have a great opportunity to build upon this platform and further strengthen our brands. This new chapter of our company will be filled with many opportunities while never taking for granted where we began and our journey to this point. I’m incredibly proud of the company we have built and am excited about our future with Clio Holdings.”
US Marble becomes the fifth company acquired by Clio Holdings since its founding in June of 2016. The Remus-based company does not anticipate any changes to day to day operations. To ensure a smooth transition, the company’s current owners, John and Sharon Bishop, will continue in advisory roles for 1-2 years.
